Students, faculty and staff of TUMSAT can request books from other institutions through the
MyLibrary website.
Delivery time:
3 days on average, but may take up to 10 days. Please choose a faster postal service for speedy delivery.
Fees:
Post and parcel charges are borne by the user. Fees amount on average to 1,350 yen per request, and vary according to the destination and weight of the book.
Payment methods:
Divided between research garant (public expense), and private expense (cash). Requests using public expense are subject to approval by an academic supervisor.
Reception of materials:
The user is contacted by the library upon reception of the materials to determine the delivery location and payment method.
Loan period:
Depends on the library, but usually extends over 1 to 3 weeks. Details available upon reception of the materials.

1. Requests using public expense subject to approval by an academic supervisor. Please specify your name, student number, and supervisor name. For copies paid with personal expense, specify the name of the relevant department and course.
2. This service is unavailable to users with overdue materials.
